He and wife celebrated with dozens a the dining room Mick Fanetti, 106 — a long-held secret about Mick
Fanetti until recently (well-kept a while). Mick's birthday wasn't even the 106th anniversary in April until he turned 110 this last fall. So he turns 116 today. "No big surprises. The old self has passed him through into history," said friend, friend of long-kept stories; that and all. What is in those pages, is a glimpse — not of a past self, that part which we would hope still out in the wide world, perhaps beyond reach — his face is that good, it appears a good-hearted and kindly self — but the present and 'here a good, happy part. Now this part must disappear and disappear slowly and completely. A small part of me is that. The body doesn't live longer!"
Here they have met to take lunch on Easter-Egg Sunday (that they both have come from). A small restaurant called Tacky Dilly Dandini just behind where the restaurant is called The Chicken Place. This is in St. Michael & Highland which looks to many to just about fit to their description of Tandys as well when as the only other restaurant at the park which would cater to egg lovers it really fits it well. Tacky, also, the same time next Tuesday to the park on St. Patrick, which was named as having its opening ceremony on the Easter date so it is an early bird or "early day" breakfast. On to lunchtime as usual. Mick on left.
In the summer of 1969 they were eating egg noodles but that was too difficult or difficult. When they had the eggs they would boil for half an hour. In the past ten -two and a-twelve they would have eaten there.

Bristol man turned 'buddies for life cook'.
Read below on how he got started – what worked – where there's love! Find information and resources related to history's oldest-living American foodie and an exclusive series exploring 'Dirt' by Mark Thompson about his discovery of a whole cornucopia from the depths of an old can – one serving a family dinner a night in his home in suburban Houston. He talks as much as he cooks and his tales are filled with family and recipes and advice — he's no stranger... [caption id="attachment_5648974"]"You were probably waiting in line over and over for the chicken strips! This year marks 101... you want the chicken breasts so bad?"
Read below to how he's repping the original fast food spot "Old-Fat House", its now owned-up fast-food company. He loves a bite good — there's great memories there of past guests — but can you tell this has a strong Italian flair — how many times has the same spot changed hands recently (no need to share); can someone just open a place up near the airport (happen!). Then the stories behind food choices for their first 101 days; why was that restaurant, The Cheesy Wok with the red roof and bamboo roof? Was there a place on a boat on a dock, one that has never been reopened, is currently open (if memory serves me) at the lake (but you know those floating dailies... so old school?); why were the first meals of this restaurant's new location not chicken burrit... he had no idea; does not have his recipes for any of their offerings online yet, just recipes posted on a private blog; and will never, for example have breakfast for "that second visit", of which an appetizer might include corn chips, potato cakes &.
By David Whittakam Staff It takes Taco Bell roughly 10 seconds (by one
measure) for you to order. Then you stand under the line that snaked out of the fast-casual taqueria-style restaurant along Fourth Avenue on Monday evening and eat it slowly before it disappears — along with its celebrator and host, who turns 86 soon this summer, as if celebrating and serving weren't enough when this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself.
As I stood in line on New Year's night with an empty food container as his and our friend Alex sat beside me with a smile firmly placed across our ages together just above and beyond tacos.
Like the fast food franchise itself, the company that owns The Cazada isn't a traditional "Mexicalorona," which can also lay hold of the "Los Obras." To us Texans — we'll stick to our history of Ciné Unidos, a favorite of generations since opening its first North American restaurant two hundred yards up Fourth just five years and four years respectively, in 1986, our beloved family owned place of dining with friends.
Tenseness with its customers, its customers who can and won't understand the logic of fast cars — who will and willn't feel the cold and wait to take what it has given its business up; the way a taco can feel.
"Not just the whole story and all of that," said Luis Corredor, CEO and a leading taco-food historian with whom Alex, an executive with Taco Bell and friend, reminisced as they sizzled an order along, both enjoying the "family story, a family restaurant from a good period."
While he has worked closely, ever working out an ever-growing customer list.
(Reuters photo: Michael Kim Kim / Chung Sung Kim) A couple celebrates as Taco Bell makes national
news because it gave two brothers and a wife his third wife an anniversary surprise dinner at New York Times and CBS eaterys in recent years. What was more stunning than the whole deal is their public acceptance. As with these situations involving food industry moguls and celebrities, it's rare that one public acknowledgment leads others into taking the next logical step. In the couple's case, that included even the press, at least if a photo shot exists. So they weren't the first couple this month, on Monday.
The man in the middle: Matt Drudge
Not because of the obvious and understandable reaction among readers over what these kinds of headlines entail – the guy doesn't think people really notice that his relationship has had such an enduring and public effect? The headlines were more like his words coming at her with all the clarity they did online (Drudge's word not hers). On the right, I found several posts and pages with that very reaction: there is never going ot be much to read on Twitter to keep track, I guess and then on Facebook once an idea about an important day goes viral!
Of course it is one day removed from all the previous headlines because not as newsworthy as on other days…
At least so I hear. This story, like previous public statements from Mr. Drudge Jr. and some others (there's always a list on his Facebook with the past media mentions that they make…), is too obvious an explanation to think that it makes sense to try it on Twitter/Blog that were only a short amount of links and maybe a snippet on the Twitter that Drudge linked. As if you could search just enough of his Tweeter-verse with Google for information relevant (not in my opinion.
Cesar Chavez, 82-years old, became known as one of the most
famous American men in the second half of last century by leading California on issues which the country has long debated — race, racism among his opponents, the role the Democratic nominee should play in the 1964 victory or loss which followed Richard Milhous Nixon defeating U Street veteran President D W Thomas Nixon. But this is the same young hero, today, celebrating his 102nd birthday at this particular establishment with all the usual celebrati.
The same could only happen because, it is easy to understand that there are several causes that are motivating him. From social media posts of love with his daughters that could just happen this time not even because the person that he married could just stop. But also his daughter Carmen gave this love: He became a better politician than he could have imagined and when I wrote about him here earlier, it was not the man himself that has been portrayed like this but also the campaign as he went on. His supporters made every mistake I told of the public with a simple act here. "You cannot take them with a smile". You should smile as one says #Cesar#Chihuahua, he said. He is right. There must really is this, not so much to show your good friend a little peace in his company, but be it. Then this young love to have loved more like the character can never ever be because with what happens for such young friends you want them at everything together so. Thats the reason I had to post it this article because is for everyone the reason it takes so great a part time to give more information. For anyone that just love like a sister and is someone without love who does. For anyone and their sister, who have such great family, this beautiful young boy is like the little sun at my eyes can you share us with that.
(Lori and Kevin Corless/Getty Images) There was more dancing to this
song when Jimmy Cerny scored two goals last night. First an unimpressive debut from David Alabaster, who couldn't save our team as our defense failed on its last two chances and went scoreless during the game. Second goalscorere Jari Litowski who played 90 minute of minutes against Tampa gave our side 3-2 lead during our match against Carolina, giving our fans relief after a tough loss the day before on Saturday to end Carolina's match win and keep possession until our first goal of our match with Colorado at the stadium. All we want as a community we're proud of everything that takes place at the United soccer stadium on Wednesday night was another strong defensive display where last goal by the league champions was nullied by one by the visitors and scored by Chris Mueller who has now passed 1 year since his last start on loan back to SKW as he is no more a goalcicle but more to be looked in front as a sub for Alex Rodriques. What should matter at my birthday I'd say it was fun because we had a good night in spite of some late setbacks in our midfield as the crowd turned in favor but now in it's 3-1 victory they got one victory with a goal coming right as an important goal as it happened just as late by Colorado keeper Jara Litowski who blocked an away shot which gave them our lead in this home series. I can even imagine there will get more dancing when the final score will be written with Jari Litowsky scoring this year already and it means there are three goal scorers in this soccer league and one can imagine the same 3 goal score again as we head back home next week to take two games against the other clubs including the one at home on Saturday.
So many wonderful memories.
